Is stress affecting your relationship?

Ever heard of the cuddle cure? Good relationships depend on good communication, but not just the verbal kind. In fact, if stress levels are running high in your home you may want to zip your lip and try a hands-on approach. Physical contact with your significant other can increase levels of oxytocin, the so-called love hormone, which may help keep reduce stress levels. A hug or a squeeze may also help you to communicate better with your partner and increase feelings of trust, taking the edge off tender topics. Does it really matter which food is best to serve?! The same applies to more serious disagreements. Put touch right up there with kale and cardio in your prevention regimen. Taking time to unwind and connect with your partner may help keep bickering at bay.
